Is grand junction colorado gay friendly

I'm the governor, and I'm gay, and have always found Grand Junction very welcoming. There is a great cultural and music scene (when times return to normal, actually sooner in GJ than elsewhere) and I find that even those who are very conservative politically are still very respectful and accepting.
